摘要
•Building envelope-enhanced phase change material is studied in a severe hot climate.•Average indoor temperature and thermal load levelling are reduced by 2 °C and 8.71 %.•CO2 emissions by 1.35 kg/day and electricity cost by 80.64 IQD/day.m3 could be saved.•Phase change material is more beneficial in the roof than walls.
