Research on the Test Technology for Digital Beam Forming Antenna

This paper discusses the test method for digital beam forming(DBF) antennas,analyzes the principle of far-field test and near-field test and the advantages and disadvantages of them.The error of near-field test is analyzed and the results of them are compared,it is concluded that,as to DBF antennas,the result of near-field test can substitute far-field test.
