Abstract
In April 2006, an ASGE-ACG task force developed a list of quality indicators for each major endoscopic procedure. For EGD, a key component of these metrics is proper description and biopsy of Barrett's esophagus (BE). To date, there are limited data on benchmarks for these metrics, and the effect of interventions to improve them. The aim of our study was to determine baseline benchmarks and assess whether educational interventions improve low-scoring metrics.
