Molecular structure of the products of the dichlorocyclopropanation of the stereoisomeric adducts of cis-alloocimene with acrylonitrile

An x-ray diffraction structural analysis established the structures of four isomers of 2-(2′,2′-dichloro-3′,3'-dimethylcyclopropyl)-3-cyano-5,6-dimethyl-7-,7-dichlorobicyclo [4.1.0]heptane. These isomers differ relative to the orientation of the condensed cyclopropane ring and cyano group and the orientation of the cyclopropyl substituent in the sixmembered ring.
