Prediction of remaining oil distribution and adjustment and tap production potential with reservoir engineering

Aim To study the remaining oil distribution of the reservoir.Methods Based on the material balance method,taking Hua 78 area of Huachi oilfield as example,study the remaining oil distribution by using the data of waterflood response,improved well,production fluid profile and injection profile qualitatively and semi-quantitatively,draw the distribution of remaining oil saturation of sublayers,analyze the flooding behavior.Results Owing to the factors of geology and production performance,the remaining oil accumulate mainly at the reservoir peripheral area,well netuork uncontrolled and underdeleopment areas and the lower permeability area,where the ploducing reserves is lower.Conclusion The distribution of remaining oil based on the means of the geologic-dynamic is dependable and concides with the practical production,so the results offer theoretic basis for amending development plan and enhancing recovery efficiency factor.
