Abstract
Objective:To introduce a new surgical technique using immediate implant placement in mandibular molars utilizing a flapless approach and evaluate its clinical results.Methods:20 patients with 20 single mandibular molars were minimally invasive extracted,implants were immediately placed into the fresh sokects and healing abutments were connectd on at the same time.No artificial bone material or membrane was used.Impression taking were performed after 3 months of the surgery,and porcelain fused to metal crowns were fited sequentially.The follow-up time was 3-24 months.Results:All 20 implants gained osseointegration,the hard and soft tissue around the implants were well preserved and the esthetic results were satisfactory.All implants were in good function during the follow-up time.Conclusions:The surgical technique of immediate implant placement in mandibular molars utilizing a flapless approach is a simple dental implant technique,it can gained predictable clinical results.It reduced the surgical times、treatment period and lower down the treatment cost.
