Distribution of Source Area and Footprint of Jinta Oasis in summer

The distribution of source area and footprint of Jinta oasis were analyzed by using the 3 layers′ flux data derived from the Jinta oasis experiment,which was implemented from May to July of 2005.The source area was examined by FSAM analytical model under stableand unstable conditions.Furthermore the source area was examined at different heights.It found that the source area under stable condition is larger than under unstable condition.And the higher receptor mounted,the larger source area is.The maximum footprint is futher and futher away from the tower.In addition,the surface roughness can influence the source area.In the same stability condition and height,the smaller the surface ronghness is,the larger source area is.
