产业集聚是当今产业发展的一个新的趋势,它在推动地区工业化,城市化进程方面发挥了重要的作用.运用面板数据模型,通过实证分析阐述产业集聚和城市化之间的相关性,同时对比中部地区和发达省份的数据,得出中部地区要缩小与发达地区的差距,必须借鉴发达地区的经验,把握产业集聚与城市化之间的哪互动规律,积极培育具有地区优势的产业集群,以促进城市化水平的提高.
