Evidence of the spin gap in Bi2Sr2Ca1$minus;xYxCu2Oy single crystals

The in-plane resistivity rho(ab)(T) have been measured for Bi2Sr2Ca1-xYxCu2Oy single crystals (x ranging from 0 to 0.10). It is found that for Bi2Sr2Ca1-xYxCu2Oy samples rho(ab)(T) deviates from T-linear behavior and deviating temperature T-D increases with superconducting temperature T-c decreasing. This is discussed with the mean field phase diagram for the CuO2 plane described by N.Nagaosa and P.L.Lee.
