Investigation of acrylonitrile copolymers by IR-spectroscopy

The effect of the intra- and inter-molecular interactions on the parameters of the absorption bands in the IR spectra of alternating and random copolymers and terpolymers of acrylonitrile with vinyl acetate and with vinylcyclohexane has been studied. The possibility for determining the composition and monomer sequence in acrylonitrile copolymers from the spectroscopic parameters has been established on the basis of the investigations carried out.
