Efficacy analysis of ultra-early removal hemicraniectomy in the treatment of massive cerebral infarction

Objective To explore the efficacy of ultra-early removal hemicraniectomy for the treatment of massive hemispheric infarction.Methods 24 cases with massive cerebral infarction were divided into ultra-early group(12 cases)and the conventional group(12 cases).Ultra-early group was given the ultra-early + removal of the hemicraniectomy surgery treatment,conventional group was given elective + removal hemicraniectomy treatment.Results The score of GCS of ultra-early group on the 7th day after operation were significantly higher than conventional group,the score of NIHSS of ultra-early group on the 30th day after operation were significantly lower than conventional group.BI scores of 3-month were significantly higher than conventional group.Ultra-early group mortality was 8.33%,the conventional group was 25%.The difference of the various indicators of the two groups was statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion Once the diagnosis of early surgical patients with massive cerebral infarction,ultra-early removal hemicraniectomy surgery is an effective means to improve neurological function in patients.
