Survey and Pathogens Identification of Viral Disease on Partial Orchids in Yunnan

Survey and pathogens identification of viral disease on Oncidium,Phalaenopsis,and Cymbidium hybrid were carried out in Yunnan.Black and brown necrotic spots were the common symptoms of the infected orchid.T-series were the most susceptive varieties in different Oncidium.It was confirmed that Cymbidium mosaic virus(CyMV)and Odontoglossum ringspot virus(ORSV)were the main causal agents by the detection methods of electron microscope,serology and RT-PCR,and CyMV was the common species.CyMV and ORSV co-infection could be detected from some diseased orchid plants.
