Influencia de los parámetros químico físicos en el diseño de formulación de cremas de Budesonida al 0.025% Chemical and physical parameters influence on the formulation design of Budesonida 0.025% creams

in the present paper the design of two formulations of Budesonida 0.025% creams was carried out, using a different range of pH in each of them. Microbiological and toxicological tests were done for both formulations, as well as the physical and chemical stability study in three different types of packages and two temperatures of store during twelve months. Both creams showed satisfactory technological parameters during the study in aluminum tubes and in plastic flasks, at room temperature and in refrigeration, while the quantify of the active principle in amber glass flasks was affected. These results allowed us to establish that the pH did not have influence on the chemical stability of Budesonida in the creams studied at both temperatures, but there was influence of the type of package used.
