Abstract
Several studies have shown that higher body mass index (BMI) is associated with lower serum prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels at screening, while other studies have not. Therefore, controversy still exists with respect to the effect of BMI on serum PSA levels at screening. The aims of this study were to evaluate the relationship between BMI and screening PSA level according to the age and also to determine whether BMI could influence the PSA screening interval in Korean men or not.
