Abstract
The accuracy with which particle tracks can be located in nuclear emulsions using trajectories determined by a wide-gap spark chamber has been investigated. Results indicate improvement over previous studies using narrow-gap chambers. The rms deviation of tracks from their predicted coordinates is 225 μm. The rms deviations in projected and dip angles are are 0.29° and 0.47° respectively.
