Yunliang,a new chestnut cultivar

Yunliang is a new chestnut cultivar selected from the open pollinated seedlings of chestnut.It is precocious and productive with higher resistance to pests and adaptability.Nuts is polished and beauty,averagely weighing 11.28 g,having higher sugar content of 21.87% with starch content of 48.41% and of very good quality.Its kernel rate reaches 41% to 58.7%.Temperature for starch pasting is 52 ℃.It can grow very well with wider crown.The biological characters and cultivated techniques are briefly introduced.
