Abstract
将小波提升应用到GIS数据压缩中,提出一种新的数据压缩方法,其使用一系列不相交的三角形来近似表示地球表面.这个方法分成如下几个步骤来进行:首先,将任意的数据点集合通过使用Delaunay 三角形来构建TIN;然后使用插值小波过滤方法通过分裂和提升两步对TIN进行处理,在分裂过程中将一个三角形分割成几个小三角形,在提升过程中对分裂后的点坐标进行修改;最后使用第二代小波对数据点集进行压缩.
