Abstract
A new rolling technique, so called ‘inscribed rolling’, has been tested for improvements on superconductivity of PIT/BSCCO. This technique allows deforming of the BSCCO/Ag composite in a way that is similar to flat rolling using large radius roller. A widening of tape and uniform core distribution have been obtained and an improved current density has also been measured from MF-BSCCO tapes.
