Increase Of The Helium Refrigerator Output For The Saclay Superconducting Heavy-Ion Booster

In order to increase the 4.5 K refrigeration capacity of our refrigerator for the superconducting cavity heavy ion booster, an additional helium compressor and a wet reciprocating expander have been installed. Measurements have been carried out and show that the obtained refrigeration capacity matches the accelerator requirements.
