Knowledge of the time dependent densification behaviour of technical powder materials during HIP procedure is of interest not only to understand the fundamental mechanisms taking place, but also to govern all stages of the HIP cycle, allowing cost effective production of materials with homogeneous and reproducible mechanical properties.
