Effect Evaluation on Self-management in Patients with Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

Objective To improve the success rate and quality of life(QOL) in patients with allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.Methods A total of 101 inpatients with allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation were divided into an experimental group with self-management based on their different stages and a control group with routine nursing measures.Comparisons were conducted on the differences in the incidence of complications,disease control knowledge and behavior related to the situation.Results Patients in the experimental group had significantly better performance in disease control knowledge and behavior to the situation and lower incidence of complications than those in the control group(P0.01).Conclusion Self-management education for patients with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation can gradually increase their knowledge level and self-care ability to change unhealthy lifestyles and habits,reduce the incidence of complications and improve the QOL.
