ADR Case Reports:Analysis of 258 Cases in Our Hospital

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the features and the relevant factors of adverse drug reactions ( ADRs) occurred in our hospital so as to promote clinical rational drug use.METHODS:258 cases of ADR reports collected in our hospital from January to December in 2009 were analyzed statistically.RESULTS:The 258 cases occurred in different age group but more often in aged people.171 cases (66.28% ) were caused by administration of intravenous injection; 120 cases (44.12% ) were associated with the use of 17 categories (113 kinds) of antiinfective drugs; 131 (45.17% ) presented with lesions of skin and appendages.CONCLUSION:The incidence of adverse drug reactions is associated with a variety of factors.It is advisable to tighten ADR monitoring and clinicians'cognition on ADRs and promote rational drug use so as to improve the quality of medical treatment.
