Evidence for boson production via isobar decay

Boson production in processes of type NA′ → AX, where A(A′) is a light nucleus of atomic number a (a′ = a − 1), and X a boson, is probably mediated by the formation of intermediate nucleon-isobars. All available experimental data including the results of the Saclay experiment on np → dσ(310) and dp → He3σ(310) strongly support the model we propose, based on the Selleri OPE triangle diagram.
