Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyze the existing problems in the injection treatment of outpatient department,explore the risk factors and put forward the intervention measures so as to ensure the safety of patients.METHODS A total of 44541cases of patients who received various injection therapies in the outpatient department from Mar 2012to Mar 2013were enrolled in the study and were statistically analyzed,then the hidden risks were explored.RESULTS There were risk factors in 8154of 44541patients,including the continuous increase of new drugs or special drugs,lack of relevant knowledge,high price of drugs,special method of dissolution,particular care about the injection process,high requirement,heavy workload,lack of nursing experience,unskilled operation,and insufficient communication with patients.CONCLUSIONThere are a variety of hidden risks in the injection therapy in the outpatient department;it is necessary to continuously strengthen the awareness of prevention of hidden risks,intensify the education,quality control,training and management,grasp the relevant knowledge of the special medicine,and enhance the communication between the patients and the nurses so as to effectively control the risk factors.
