Study on imaging parameters of double source CT venography in cerebral veins
Chinese Imaging Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine(2012)
摘要
Objective: To investigate the optimal phase and slice thickness of double source CT venography in the head in order to get better images of cerebral veins. Methods: The small-dose tests were performed in 11 healthy volunteers and the theoretical threshold was obtained by the time-density curve.Forty-five volunteers were divided randomly into three groups to explore the virtual threshold of the bolus-triggered technique. The data obtained were retrospectively reconstructed with slice thickness of 0.75 mm and 1.50 mm.Results: The optimal threshold of CTV in the head was 100 HU.The quality of images with slice thickness of 0.75 mm was superior to the quality with slice thickness of 1.50 mm.Conclusion: Satisfactory CTV images in the head can be got with optimal threshold of 100 HU and reconstructed with slice thickness of 0.75 mm.
