Abstract
Severe jejunal variceal bleeding occurred in a child with splenic-vein occlusion following a near-total pancreatectomy for hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia. This rare sequela of splenic-vein occlusion required dismantling of the varices and splenectomy.
