摘要
POSTERSlowest genetic-barrier score. There is only 1 exception, that is the rtM204I mutation, where the codon with the lowest genetic-barrier is highly infrequent (1.6% in antiviral-treated patients), since, due to RT/HBsAg gene overlapping, it determines the formation of a stop-codon in HBsAg-position W196.Conclusions: Both the genetic-barrier and the RT/HBsAg overlapping does influence HBV drug-resistance/immune-escape development. The different immune-escape potential of specific HBV-genotypes can have important clinical consequences in terms of disease-progression, vaccine-strategies, and correct HBsAgdetection.
