摘要
Objective Serum soluble tumor necrosis factor related apoptosis-inducing ligand(sTRAIL) and osteoprotegerin(OPG) levels were measured in patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI) in different subtypes of the Trial of Org 10172 in acute stroke treatment(TOAST),and their function and Clinical significance in the pathogenesis of ACI were discussed. Methods 17 ACI patients with Large artery atherosclerotic stroke(LAA),13 cases with small artery occlusion stroke(SAO) and 14 control subjects were included. All their serum levels of sTRAIL and OPG were determined with ELISA method. Results sTRAIL,OPG and fasting plasma glucose(FPG) of ACI patients were higher,HDL was lower than the control group.NIHSS,CSS scores of LAA-type were higher than the SAO-type.Serum sTRAIL of LAA-type was higher than control, and OPG was higher than SAO group and the control with significant differences in Statistics.ACI serum OPG levels showed a positive linear correlation with age. Conclusion TRAIL and OPG participate in the pathological process of ACI,and may play a particularly prominent role in the LAA.
