In this paper, we analyze the qualitative and quantitative effects of formulating the transfer of synchrotron radiation in a toroidal geometry, and modeling the e lectron temperature with an advanced p rofile with respect t o a generalized p arabolic one, u sing the e xact m ethod for the calculation of the absorption coefficient. 2.
