Nursing intervention of polysomnographic monitoring

Objective:To provide a good basis for the judgement,classification and treatment of snoring and sleep apnea syndrome′s diagnosis through the monitoring of polysomnography.Methods:The patients were monitored by polysomnography respiratory monitoring system.The time was not less than seven hours at night.Results:Three patients with primary snoring and sixty patients with sleep apnea syndrome(51 cases of seriousness,6 cases of secondary,3 cases of light) who received the sleep monitoring and treatment of pressure titration at the same time all had satisfactory results.Conclusions:Using polysomnographic monitoring timely is useful for diagnosis,treatment of sleep disorders.The patient will have a better understanding of their own disease,they would accept more active treatments and their quality of life will be improved.
