摘要
Cardiovascular autonomic dysfunction has frequently been reported in patients with extra-pyramidal syndromes, particularly in multiple system atrophy (MSA) but also in Parkinson's disease (PD). However, there are only few reports on the prevalence of cardiovascular autonomic dysfunction in progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP). Moreover, the relationship of detailed cardiovascular testing and 24 h ambulatory blood pressure is not known. We, therefore, evaluated 24 h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring in patients with different parkinsonian syndromes and corresponding controls and related the findings to results of comprehensive cardiovascular autonomic testing.
