Abstract
The reaction process of the raw materials near to practical production in high, medium and low temperature by continuously weighting method was studied, and the mass change of the sample in the heating nitridation process was exhaustively described. The activation energy. of Al2O3-Si-Al in-situ reaction system by thermal analysis was calculated. The reaction mechanism and parameters of the direct nitridation sintering of the green body prepared by in-situ reaction system with different particle levels was also investigated. Some technical index and effect parameters of the industrial production of in-situ synthesis multi-phase Sialon were suggested. The results show that: the nitridation reaction rate of Al2O3-Si-Al system is controlled by the chemical reaction in 900 similar to 1150 degrees C, activation energy E=58.5 kJ center dot mol(-1); that is controlled by diffusion reaction in 1200 similar to 1450 degrees C, activation energy E=27.26 kJ center dot mol(-1).
