Abstract
To provide technical support for producing high quality and aroma tobacco leaves,a field experiment was conducted during 2005-2006 to study the relationship between the contents of amino acid and ridge-forming,potassium fertilizing methods by using a tobacco(Nicotiana tobacum L.) cultivar yunyan 87 in Nanyang. Results showed that:(1) ridges formed by piling up soil after planting and potassium fertilization by stages can increase the total amount of amino acid. Compared with the common cultivation, the contents of Asp,Thr,Ser,Phe,Tyr,Arg etc were greatly increased in all treated samples. For the low ridges formed by double pilings, potassium fertilizer topdressed two times was the highest, totaling 57.40 mg/g.(2) by using the same potassium fertilizing methods, the total contents of amino acid treated with low ridges formed by piling up soil was higher than ridges formed by piling up soil after flat planting;with the same ridge forming methods, the total contents of amino acid treated with potassium fertilizer two times was higher than when potassium fertilizer was applied only once.
