China's Coal Resources Endowments with the Pattern of International Reserves

According to the basic characteristics and mineral resources supply and demand situation of China's mineral resources endowments,the article analyzes China's mineral reserves and mineral resources security and international status.The results showed that: up to 2007,171 kinds of minerals have been identified in the total amount of mineral resources,and minerals identified and amount of more than 20 kinds of mineral reserves are relatively high in the world.Proved reserves of coal are 1145×108t,accounting for 13.9% of the world's total,ranking first in the world,and ratio of storage and production is 41.Endowment of coal resources,as well as changes in the temporal and spatial pattern of trends decide China's decision to resolve the resources structural contradictions.Resources to reserves and basic reserves decide the short,medium-and long-term resource security.The establishment of the protection of coal resources,circulation,consumption,use,recycling,trade and management strategies,can form a complete integrated security system.
