Antioxidation activity in vitro of cold pressed Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge kernel oil

The Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge kernel oil was extracted by cold pressing method,and its antioxidation activity in vitro was evaluated through experiment.The results showed that the oil had good scavenging effect on ·OH and O-2·,and had strong scavenging effect on DPPH·.The reduction capacity of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge kernel oil was stranger than BHT and TBHQ,and it had good inhibition of Fe2 + induced lipid peroxidation reaction at higher concentration of oil.In a word,the cold pressed oil of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge kernel had great oxidative activity in vitro and would be made to functional oil in the future.
