Geological condition of uranium metallization and exploration orientation of Taoshan ore field in Jiangxi province

Taoshan ore field occurs in Taoshan composite pluton,it is a granite typ uranium ore field,the main uranium mineralization is cataclastic-altered granite type.Favourable geological conditions of uranium metallization for this ore field are mainly as follows:(1)uranium-riched carbonaceous-siliceous-mudstone rock basement;(2)NE-striking dike filling structure belt developed in the batholith;(3)alkalic metasomatism in the pluton;(4)sub-structure of fissure belt;(5)emplacement of Daguzhai pluton in the third phase of the late Yanshan period;(6)oxidation-reduction transition zone;(7)lower erosion degree.The authors consider Daguzhai pluton and the near periphery,especially its northeast part,as the prospecting target for further exploration.
