201 Review of 49 cases of transvenous pacemaker or defibrillator lead extraction in cardiac device-related infective endocarditis context: analysis of safety and efficiency

Conclusions Primary trans-venous lead removal is an efficient technique, particularly in case of recent lead implantation, at least in an experienced center. Rate of systemic complications were 10%.No correlation between vegetation size and morbidity was observed.
