Response of sensitive membrane electrodes based on polyetheretherketone to cations

Ion-sensitive electrodes have been made from the functional polymer polyetheretherketone as the structural skeleton of membrane materials. It was found from experiments that membranes treated by various methods possess different response characteristics. The sulfonated polyetheretherketone membranes have a better response to some cations. The effects of some ions on the response and other response characteristics of the membrane electrode are also reported.
