Clinical study on themodified device of guide eruption in combination of the closed-eruption surgical technique applied in impacted tooth

Objective To evaluate the effects of themodified device of guide eruption applied in impacted tooth and discuss themechanism and application.Methods Thirteen cases aged 8～11 years old with impacted tooth were chosen and treated with themodified device of guide eruption and closed-eruption surgical technique.X-rays were taken before and after the treatment.Results Thirteen impacted tooth were treated successfully after 8～15 months,and the average period was 12 months.Conclusion Themodified device ofguide eruption is effective for impactedmaxillary tooth.
