Observation on the effects of Venlafaxine and Eprisome for the patients of tension headache

OBJECTIVE To investigate the therapeutic effect of Venlafaxine combined Eprisome treating tension headache.METHODS 78 patients with tension headache were randomly divided into treatment group(39 cases) treated with Venlafaxine and Eprisome,and control group(39 cases) treated with Eprisome,for four weeks.The degrees of pain relief were analyzed before and after treatment.RESULTS Degree of pain relief after treatment both groups,seizure frequency,duration,the difference was statistically significant,The treatment group response rate was 92.31% in the control group response rate was 71.80%,the difference was statistically significant.CONCLUSION It is better of Venlafaxine combined with Eprisome for t reating tension headache.
