Study on the kinetics of enzymatic transesterification of rapeseed oil for biodiesel production

The kintetics of lipase catalyzing transesterification of rapeseed oil for biodiesel production was studied.The intial reaction rate model was established based on Ping Pong Bi Bi according to substrate competitive inhibition mechanism.The result revealed that the initial reation rate decreaed with increasing of the concentration of methanol,and the optimum molar ratio of methanol to oil is 1.5.
