Recycling of Epoxy in Waste Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)

The composite material is produced by compression molding with PVC as matrix and nonmetallic materials in waste printed circuit boards (mainly epoxy) as filler. The paper analyzes its feasibility and the proportion of waste epoxy on the mechanical properties of the materials. The results show that the composite material has better mechanical properties when ratio of waste epoxy to PVC is 7:3 without compatilizer, which can meet the needs of related products and therefore greatly improve the utilization of the waste epoxy.
