Abstract
The efficacy of using domestic (LFM-3) and imported (Oleophobol C and Scotchgard FC-251) preparations for decreasing the wettability of fibre materials was investigated. A significant difference in the chemical composition of the preparations, latex particle charge, and stability of dispersions was found. It was shown that the domestic and imported products are equally effective for giving fibre materials oil- and water-repellent properties, and LFM is more technologically effective.
