Representation of cutaneous electrogastrogram in patients with chronic liver failure

Cutaneous electrogastrography(EGG) was performed in 18 chronic liver failure(CLF) patients,20 healthy volunteers served as normal controls.In CLF group,the dominant frequency and percentage of normal slow wave before and after meal,as well as the postprandial/fast dominant power ratio decreased significantly,and the percentage of bradygastria increased significantly compared with normal controls(P0.05).
