MLEnt: The Machine Learning Entailment System of the University of Alicante

This paper describes a machine learning based approach for the resolution of text entailment. We model features based on lexical overlaps and semantic similarity measures. The machine learning algo- rithm we worked with is Support Vector Machines. Several feature sets are con- structed and their combination is studied in order to boost the final performance of the MLEnt system.
