A Case for the Misdiagnosis of Systematic Lupus Erythematosus

In order to analyze a misdiagnosis case for the systemic lupus erythematosus,we have studied the hidden obscured glass-type changes from the inflammation infiltrated from the lung of the patient.By using little dose of hormone for diagnosis treatment and through removal of misdiagnosis possibilities,we have found that the misdiagnosis was chiefly due to the invasion of the systemic lupus erythematosus against the lung,which resulted in the change of the nature of the pulmonary fibrosis.Such a case is always misdiagnosed for inflammation,infection or pulmonary emphysema.The modern photographing technique,especially the HRCT scanning technique,can give us an important judgment for the diagnosis of the pulmonary fibrosis and plays a role in the effect and function of the clinical photographing.
