Wild Honey Plants in Wuyishan National Nature Reserve Between Spring and Summer

Between April and June many honey plants bloomed in Wuyishan National Nature Reserve. About 10~15 kg high quality honey per colony could be expected. Fagaceae and Theaceae were the two dominant families which provided lots of honey and pollen, some of which such as Castanopsis eyrei, C.carlesii, Adinandra millet, Schima superba, Dendropanax dentiger were typical and most abundant species, they were characterized in the aspects of distribution, habitat, blossom and so on.
