Accélération d'atomes ultra-froids : mesure de h/MA

We present here the project for a new experiment with cold atoms. The purpose is to measure the recoil of an atom that absorbs or emits photons. From this measurement, one can deduce the ratio h/M-A between the Planck constant and the mass of the atom. The ratio h/M-A may be used to determine the fine structure constant alpha. It could also be the first step towards a new microscopic mass unit.
