摘要
We hypothesized that treatment-of atherosclerosis could be improved if patients were treated with multiple medications that were tailored individually to the patient's abnormal lipoproteins via use of the Vertical Auto Profile II test. Retrospectively, we found that treatment with multiple antidyslipidemic medications (compared with a single medication) significantly increased high-density lipoprotein 2, total high-density lipoprotein, and low-density lipoprotein particle size, while at the same time reducing very low density lipoprotein 3, very low density lipoprotein, and triglycerides.
