Proceedings of the Eighth Indian Conference on Computer Vision, Graphics and Image Processing

If it is December of an even year, it has to be the ICVGIP time! About two years ago most of us met at Chennai and had a great time. It is now our great pleasure to invite you all to the Eighth Indian Conference on Vision, Graphics and Image Processing (ICVGIP) to be held in Mumbai, India. This conference is a continuation of the bi-annual series of ICVGIPs that originated in New Delhi in 1998. Subsequent conferences have been held in different cities in India. This conference has emerged as one of the premier conferences in India. ICVGIP has already acquired the stature as a reputed international conference. Right from the inception, vision researchers in India have put their hearts and souls into having a high-quality conference and we are sure that the attendees of this conference will find it professionally very useful. We are happy to note that the Eighth ICVGIP will host attendees from Asian, American and European continents.
